Claire Lerner, LCSW, Lerner Child Development
Claire is a highly regarded child development and parenting expert with more than three decades of experience in education and direct practice.
Claire partners with parents to decode their children's behavior and solve their most vexing childrearing challenges.
Claire is the author of hundreds of parenting resources including the popular parenting book, Why Is My Child in Charge? and Big Reactors : Practical Strategies for Supporting Highly Sensitive Children coming in October 2025.

Charlotte Wright
M.S., Ed.M, Early Childhood and Playful Learning Expert
Charlotte Wright has nearly 20 years of experience working with young children and studying early learning and development. A former preschool and kindergarten teacher, she specializes in playful learning, children's media, early literacy, and social-emotional learning.
Charlotte was a LEGO Foundation Research Fellow at Temple University’s Infant and Child Lab, where she led research on play and parenting and supported studies on playful learning in media and curricula.
She is currently a Learning Design and Research Specialist at Begin and serves as the President of the Children's Media Association's Bay Area Chapter. Her work includes projects with Sesame Workshop, Sago Mini, English Learners Success Forum (ELSF), and Kinedu and she’s published in outlets such as Frontiers in Developmental Psychology, Young Children, and The Journal of Children and Media. Charlotte holds degrees from Tufts University, Boston University, and Columbia University.

Dr. Thảo-Châu Trịnh, MSc, PsyD , Clinical Pyschologist
Dr. Thảo-Châu Trịnh, MSc, PsyD (she/they) is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in early childhood mental health and the impact of intergenerational trauma on attachment and development.
Dr. Trịnh received their doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute and has worked extensively in schools, community mental health, the foster care system, and hospital settings to support children and their caregivers through play therapy and neuropsychological assessment.
Dr. Trịnh is a daughter of refugees, Bay Area native, proud parent to a gender diverse child, and enjoys bike riding, rock polishing, and cooking traditional Vietnamese cuisine with their family.
